Inside images confirm that this double-cabin pickup will soon be introduced as a more accessible alternative to the existing four-wheel drive (4×4) Hunter model.
Affordability with Same Features
One of the biggest attractions of this new variant is affordability. According to insiders, the JAC T9 4×2 will be priced under Rs. 90 lacs, positioning it well below the 4×4 version. Despite the powertrain difference—with the new variant offering rear-wheel drive instead of four-wheel drive—reports confirm there are no features stripped from the 4×2 model. This means buyers can still enjoy the same level of comfort, safety, infotainment, and luxury that the T9 Hunter is known for, but at a lower cost.
This move is especially strategic for the Pakistani market, where many buyers admire the imposing design and practicality of pickups but do not necessarily require full off-road capability. By introducing a rear-wheel drive version, Ghandhara is catering to urban and semi-urban customers who prioritize style, utility, and value for money.
