Khan was discovered in her Gulshan-e-Iqbal apartment after neighbors reported a foul smell. Police confirmed she had likely passed away a few days earlier, possibly in her bathroom. Since she lived alone and her children resided outside Karachi, her body was taken to Jinnah Hospital for legal formalities before being moved to the Edhi Morgue.
