In 2025 from September 5 to 7 people in Pakistan will have a 3 day holiday which is for they to relax and spend time with family. This may be a long weekend as Eid Milad-un-Nabi and Defence Day are at the same time.
Eid Milad-un-Nabi (September 5)
The 12th of Rabi’ al-‘awwal is what falls on the calendar of that particular year but it will be the 5th of September. This day is a celebration of Eid Milad un Nabi, the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Annually people mark the day with special prayers, social get togethers and processions. Also a public holiday is to be expected at the time.

Defence Day (September 6)
The following Saturday, September 6th marks Pakistan’s Defence Day. We see a tribute to the brave soldiers and martyrs at home and across the country. Also as usual it is a public holiday.
