If you’re planning to sell your home, one of the best ways to attract potential buyers and increase your chances...
After 24 years together and four rejected proposals, comedian Frank Skinner has finally tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Cath Mason. The couple, who share a 12-year-old son, Buzz, opted for a super-private wedding with no guests—just their son as a witness.
Why did it take so long? And why did Cath say “no” four times before finally saying “yes”?
Skinner, 68, revealed on his podcast Frank Off The Radio that they got married in a simple ceremony at Camden Town Hall in London. Instead of a traditional wedding hall, they exchanged vows on the stairs—with only their son Buzz present.
Instead of a classic wedding march, the couple walked in to “Lie Dream of a Casino Soul” by The Fall—a post-punk band that meant a lot to them in their early days.
Skinner had proposed four times before Cath finally agreed. In past interviews, he shared possible reasons:
“Maybe she doesn’t like me as much as I think!” Skinner joked in 2024.
Skinner didn’t give a deep reason—just a funny one:
“Maybe I’ve got too much money—I’ll give her half in about five years!”
He also denied it was for tax benefits, saying, “I’m not planning on dying anytime soon.”
