Pakistan once again embarked on a bold journey to empower its youth by introducing the Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP) Youth Ecopreneur Program (YECO). The first-of-its-kind program aims to put young entrepreneurs at the center of the nation’s green revolution, with projects related to sustainable ventures and land reclamation.
With climate change and environmental destruction being among the world’s biggest problems during a time like today, YECO presents a timely platform for young people to integrate entrepreneurship with environmental responsibility. By combining finance, mentorship, and global exposure, the program equips young eco-entrepreneurs with the skills required to expand their innovations toward a greener future.
Eligibility Criteria
To make sure that the program equips energetic and dedicated leaders, applicants have to fulfill the following requirements:
- Be below 35 years of age by the application date, 14th September 2025.
- Be in the role of Founder, Co-Founder, or CEO of a startup.
- Run a youth-led and legally registered enterprise.
- See to it that the business model feeds directly into land restoration, sustainability, or the wider green economy.

Application Categories
YECO candidates may apply in two broad categories:
- Land Restoration – Companies and initiatives dedicated to rehabilitating degraded land, conservation of forests, and enhancing biodiversity.
- Green Business Solutions – Enterprises that create environmentally friendly products, renewable energy technologies, sustainable agriculture, or smart waste management systems.
Program Benefits

- Seed Funding: A collective fund of USD 100,000 (equity-free) for the Land Restoration cohort.

- Networking opportunities globally and international exposure.
