British comedian and children author David Walliams is under fire after reports claim he made Nazi salutes during the filming of a BBC Christmas special. The incident occurred while recording Would I Lie To You?, a popular panel show.
What Happened During the Recording?
According to The Times, Walliams made the salutes while his teammate, Call the Midwife star Helen George, told a story. She claimed she sprained her wrist from “waving too much” on Strictly Come Dancing.
When the opposing team joked her wave was “too little,” Walliams reportedly exaggerated his own wave, ending in a Nazi salute. Witnesses say:
