Early Life & Musical Genesis
Born on 22 July 1995 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Armaan Malik is the son of music director Daboo Malik and Jyothi Malik. He began formal music training at age 4, and studied at Jamnabai Narsee School before refining his craft at Berklee College of Music, Boston.
He debuted publicly in 2006 on the reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs and released his first playback song, Bum Bum Bhole (from Taare Zameen Par, 2007), at just 12 years old.
