According to the Pakistan Automotive Sales Report, total car sales reached 14,050 units in August 2025, reflecting a 27% month-on-month growth compared to July’s 11,043 units and a 62% year-on-year growth compared to August 2024.
- Pak Suzuki dominated the market with 7,154 units sold, almost doubling its sales from the previous month. The Suzuki Alto, Suzuki Cultus, and Suzuki Swift were the top-performing entry-level cars, while the Wagon R also contributed to the surge.
- Toyota followed with 3,337 units, led by consistent demand for the Toyota Corolla and Toyota Yaris, while the Toyota Fortuner held its SUV market share.
- Honda Atlas declined to 1,073 units, as demand for mid-segment cars such as the Honda City and Civic slowed down.
- Hyundai Nishat posted 1,212 units, with the Hyundai Tucson and Hyundai Elantra showing steady interest.
- Sazgar Engineering (Haval) recorded 1,049 units, slightly lower than July’s performance.
