30 Electric Buses have officially been introduced in Faisalabad as part of the Punjab government Green Initiative. These buses will operate on seven routes, providing affordable travel, safe transport, and comfortable travel for citizens. The project also aims to reduce fuel costs, reduce air pollution, and promote environment-friendly transport in the city. This marks a new era of modern mobility for students, senior citizens, and people with disabilities.
Depots and Infrastructure
Dedicated depots have been established at Ghulam Muhammad Abad depot, Sargodha Road depot, and Gutwala Road depot to support this project. The official inauguration of the service will soon be carried out by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, highlighting the government’s commitment to clean and green mobility.
